Strong, Not Stressed!

ree

June—the month where school’s out, the sun’s blazing, and suddenly your schedule feels both wide open and completely packed at the same time. If you’re like most women in their 40s, you’re juggling cookouts, travel plans, and maybe a few extra houseguests… and wondering how on earth you’re supposed to stay on track with your workouts. First things first: let’s ditch the “beach body” nonsense. You already have a beach body—it’s the one you bring to the beach. What you want is a strong, energized, feel-good body that lets you enjoy your summer without needing a nap every afternoon!

This time of year, fitness has to be flexible. We’re talking sustainable, realistic workouts that work with your life—not against it. That might mean shorter sessions, more walking while you travel, or even doing a few strength moves while the kids are at the splash pad. Movement doesn’t have to be perfect to count. Ten minutes here and there still builds strength, boosts your mood, and keeps those joints happy.

Also? This is not the time to go all-or-nothing. If you miss a workout, eat a funnel cake at the fair, or spend a whole weekend on the patio instead of the gym—cool. We're human beings, ladies! Progress over perfection, always. The key is building a rhythm that feels doable all summer long, not one that flames out by the Fourth of July.

YOU GOT THIS! 👊🏾
